HEY, I’M JENNY!

I’ve supported countless people taking their first steps in Finland, and I also know firsthand what it’s like to make myself at home in odd places. I’ve been in the hosting business for more than a decade, and it’s still my favorite thing to do.

I have also moved countless times, and like anyone who has ever moved without professional help, each time I swore this was the last time. In every new home I poured my heart and soul into making it perfectly functional, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, only to be carrying that cursed couch again.

At some point I just started to leave ready homes behind: instead of moving, I started to take in guests from all around the world. My guests appreciated the well-thought-out details, comprehensive amenities, and comfy decor. My tendency to change scenery had become a part of my hosting business, and my once homes had become my work. Lovely how that worked out!

In 2026 my career took a new turn when I launched Min Evá Homes. It brings together all the things that I love the most and know the best. What is it that you offer?

Homes! Fully equipped rentals for people starting their new life with a suitcase or three. Instead of renting an empty apartment and buying everything from scratch, you can have your home handed to you elämisvalmiina—all ready for your new day-to-day. There are two options to choose from: Custom Homes and Ready Homes.

Min Evá Home isn’t a short-term rental, but it’s just as easy. We reward long-term tenants with annual rent reductions, offer all kinds of flexibility in lease terms, and make sure you’re well taken care of.

Custom Homes, Ready Homes...?

A Custom Home is a fully equipped rental created exclusively with your needs in mind. You get a say in everything—from location to wall color, kitchen setup to the size of the couch. Or you can leave it all to us: the point is, it’s all up to you, all made for you.

Ready Homes are pre-lived and pre-loved, now available for the next tenant. They’re available quickly and for shorter stays, too. They don’t require a service fee, but you still enjoy the same Min Evá perks during your lease!

What does “fully equipped” mean?

It means truly ready to move in, so it doesn’t feel like your first day. You’ll have all the furniture, linens, dishes, cleaning supplies, working internet, and bedside lamps. Optional basics like a toaster, TV, or comfy armchair are included in the rent; extras like parking, game consoles, or air fryers are available for a fee. There will be soap, but you will need to bring your toothbrush.

Can I customize the furniture or supplies?

Almost endlessly! When you fill out the Custom Home questionnaire via our contact form, you can ask for it all (and update your wishes later too). Once you’ve told us exactly what you want, we will do our absolute best to get it just right for you. With Ready Homes, there is less room for customization, but little tweaks are definitely possible, plus you get to skip the service fee altogether.

Do you offer accessible apartments?

Absolutely! Just tell us about your accessibility needs, and we’ll make sure your home is fully prepared to support you. This isn’t just about physical accessibility: we’re happy to assist with all kinds of special requirements, including sensory, neurodiverse, and mental health needs. Your comfort and well-being come first.

What does it cost?

All Custom Homes have a flat service fee as follows:

Studio: 1500 € + VAT
1BR: 2000 € + VAT
2BR: 2500 € + VAT
3BR: 3000 € + VAT
4BR: 3500 € + VAT

Pre-lived Ready Homes do not require a service fee, so feel free to see if one fits your needs!

The monthly rent depends on many factors, but is typically comparable with other similar furnished rentals in the area. Unlike in those rentals, your rent decreases each year!

Do I need to pay for insurance or utilities?

No for utilities, yes for renter’s insurance. It’s for your own good! If you want, we can help you get one. All other home-related bills are taken care of for you, such as water, electricity, and internet.

How long is the minimum lease?

The minimum lease for a Custom Home is 12 months. Ready Homes have a 1 month minimum (short-term available only on short notice).

Who do you welcome?

We welcome all good people and their good pets! That probably includes you, too <3

What support do you offer during my stay?

We’re here whenever you need us! Whether it’s a quick question, advice on settling in, or help with something in your apartment, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Consider us your go-to for anything that makes your new life feel just right.

How do you handle maintenance or repairs?

We handle them well! You just let us know if anything comes up. We will take care of it as soon as possible, or have someone we trust do it. Our main goal is to make sure you feel at ease, stress-free, and well taken care of.

What if I break something?

If it is an accident, you just let us know and we’ll say ‘it happens’. If something needs to be replaced, it is ultimately your responsibility, but we can sort out a fair solution together. If it is something more expensive, you have your renter’s insurance.

Can I pause my lease?

If you have lived in the same apartment for at least 12 months, you can pause your lease for up to 6-12 months. Returning to the same apartment can’t be guaranteed, but you’ll get to keep your long-term benefits. 6 months in Lapland or Thailand? No problem!

What if I need to terminate the lease early?

Your minimum lease is fixed, and usually can’t be terminated early. However, should something very unexpected happen, you are always welcome to approach us with your situation, and we can see if something can be done (we’re actually nice like that).

What happens when I move out?

If you move out, you pack up your personal things, and leave behind everything that was already there. Adapting to changes has never been this easy! If you move from one Min Evá Home to another, you’ll get to keep all your earned benefits, like rent discounts. Your previous Min Evá Home will be listed as a Ready Home, and make someone else with your excellent taste and lifestyle very happy.
